Handwrite Studio ("the service") is provided free of charge, as-is, without an account or contract. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. Intended Purpose and Permitted Creative Use

Handwrite Studio ("the service") is designed solely as a creative graphic utility to render text into aesthetic handwriting-style visual documents. Legitimate and permitted uses include:

Personal study notes, revision summaries, and memory sheets;
Creative writing, poetry, journal entries, and personal correspondence;
Design mockups, artistic posters, invitations, and decorative graphics;
Educational handwriting practice and letterform demonstrations.

All rendering happens entirely in your local browser window using open-source typefaces. The service imitates the stylistic aesthetic of handwriting; it does not clone or reproduce any living or deceased person's authentic handwriting.

2. Strictly Prohibited Uses (Anti-Forgery & Impersonation Policy)

You agree never to use Handwrite Studio, directly or indirectly, for deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes. Specifically prohibited actions include:

Signature Forgery: Generating, imitating, tracing, or simulating signatures of any person;
Impersonation: Presenting generated documents as the authentic physical handwriting of a specific individual;
Official & Legal Records: Fabricating, falsifying, or altering legal agreements, contracts, affidavits, medical prescriptions, government documents, institutional certificates, diplomas, or academic exam submissions;
Evidentiary Fabrication: Fabricating false handwritten evidence, logs, or statements intended for administrative, judicial, or investigatory proceedings;
Deceptive Marketing: Claiming or implying that generated documents are genuine physical handwritten artifacts, "undetectable AI handwriting", or human-penned originals where disclosure is legally or ethically required;
Institutional Marks: Combining generated handwriting with unauthorized official seals, stamps, letterheads, or emblems.

Notice Under Indian Law: Users subject to Indian jurisdiction are expressly notified that the creation, transmission, or presentation of false documents with intent to deceive or commit fraud constitutes a criminal offense under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS Sections 336, 338, and 340) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (Sections 66C and 66D). Similar penal and civil statutes apply in most global jurisdictions.

Note for founders: This clause flags key Indian statutes and should be validated by qualified Indian legal counsel prior to forming a commercial entity.

3. User Responsibility and Indemnification

You are solely and exclusively responsible for the text you input, the documents you export, and how those documents are distributed or represented to third parties. By using the service, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operators, developers, and hosts of Handwrite Studio from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal expenses resulting from your use of exported materials or your breach of these terms.

4. Your Content, Intellectual Property, and Font Licences

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of the text you provide and the documents you generate. The typefaces embedded or drawn by the application are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits unrestricted commercial use and document embedding. 5. No Warranty and Absolute Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operators disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Under no circumstances shall the operators be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this service or its exported files.

6. Abuse Reporting and Enforcement

If you discover that Handwrite Studio has been utilized in the creation of fraudulent documents, impersonation, or unlawful activities, please notify us immediately:

We reserve the right to ban offending IP addresses, disable client features, or cooperate with law enforcement authorities in the event of documented illegal misuse.
